Stoneware Bean Pot produced by
Robinson Ransbottom Pottery Co of Roseville Ohio in
the first half of the 20th century. Pot bears the
Pre-1950 crown mark and the number 3 indicating
3-quart capacity. This is a beautiful bean pot in
excellent condition; glaze is shiny and there is no
crazing.
There is an approximate 3/8”
manufacturing flaw on the bottom of the pot. It
appears that the pottery surface was bumped or
pushed before it was dried, causing a dimple in the
pot. This flaw was glazed over, and you can see the
texture in the dimple. This does not affect the
beauty of the pot, and the pot sits level.
